Hyderabad.17.07.2024: In a significant development at the TPCC working group meeting, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made key comments regarding the state’s loan waiver program. Revanth Reddy highlighted that the promise of waiving the loan before August 15 has been fulfilled ahead of schedule, underscoring his commitment to the people.
Revanth Reddy recalled that Harish Rao had stated he would resign if the loan waiver was accomplished. “Harish Rao said he will resign if the debt is paid. Many doubted our ability to waive the loan, but we have shown that sincerity makes everything possible,” said CM Revanth Reddy.
Revanth Reddy Calls for Harish Rao to Keep His Word
Emphasizing the political implications, Revanth Reddy stated that the future is linked to the successful implementation of the loan waiver. “Tomorrow’s political future is tied to debt relief,” he asserted, highlighting the importance of the loan waiver to the state’s agricultural sector. He added that the money would be deposited in farmers’ accounts by tomorrow evening, with an additional lakh to be deposited by August 15.
Revanth Reddy also lauded Sonia Gandhi’s efforts in fulfilling the 60-year aspiration for Telangana and emphasized the respect owed to her family. He called for a campaign to promote the loan waiver at village, mandal, and constituency levels, urging supporters to communicate the achievement directly to the people.
“Our actions speak louder than words. We are still talking about YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s free electricity and Indiramma’s houses. Tomorrow, they will talk about Rythubandhu for the next 20 years,” Revanth Reddy concluded.
