Hyderabad.22.01.2025: The JEE Main online exams for 2025 Session 1 have started today across the country. The exams will be held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30 to fill BTech seats in NITs. The Paper 2 exam for BArch and B Planning seats is scheduled for the final day, January 30.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of these exams. Over 12 lakh students have registered for both papers nationwide, with about 1.5 lakh students from the Telugu states alone. Hall tickets can be downloaded from the official website.
The exams will take place in two shifts: from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM. Students must bring their admit cards and a valid photo ID to the exam hall. Accepted IDs include Aadhaar, ration cards, passports, driving licenses, or PAN cards. Additionally, students should carry a passport-size photograph, the same one uploaded during the application process.
Students with disabilities must bring their medical certificates. Items such as jewelry, metallic objects, bags, purses, printed materials, mobile phones, calculators, and geometry boxes are strictly prohibited inside the exam center. Officials have emphasized that only essential items should be brought to ensure a smooth examination process.
