Nizamabad, April 21, 2025: A helicopter carrying Telangana ministers caused panic while landing at the Rythu Mahotsavam (Farmers’ Festival) in Nizamabad. The strong wind and dust from the landing damaged tents and a welcome arch, injuring some farmers and police officers at the scene.

The incident happened just as the event was about to start. The sudden chaos left many attendees running for safety. Luckily, the injuries were minor and no one was seriously hurt.
Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, Jupally Krishna Rao, Uttam Kumar Reddy, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, and Congress leader Shabbir Ali were onboard the helicopter.
A video of the scene shows a large dust cloud and people scrambling to escape the area.
Separate Road Accident in Medak
In a separate accident on the same day, a tragic road collision in Medak district claimed the lives of three family members, including an infant. Their car was hit by another vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
