Jagtial, January 3, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan visited the renowned Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Jagtial district, Telangana, where he participated in special prayers and laid the foundation stone for significant development projects.
The initiatives include a 96-room dharmashala and a deeksha mandiram for devotees, funded entirely through donations amounting to over ₹35 crore. During the ceremony, Pawan Kalyan expressed his deep devotion and highlighted the temple’s importance in his life.
In his subsequent address to Jana Sena Party workers, Pawan Kalyan spoke emotionally about his connection to Telangana. He stated that the land of Telangana has given him courage, fighting spirit, and the determination to remain steadfast in politics. He described the people of the region as a constant source of inspiration throughout his public life.
Pawan Kalyan motivated the cadres by reminding them that victories and defeats are part of politics. “What matters most is having the courage to contest elections and staying connected with the people,” he said. He urged party workers not to fear defeat, emphasizing that only through participation do leaders gain experience and build public trust. He clarified that Jana Sena’s struggles are always based on policies and public interest, and that he harbors no personal enmities.
Highlighting the party’s performance, he noted that Jana Sena achieved a 50 percent strike rate in the seats it contested in Telangana, describing it as a major accomplishment reflecting the dedication of the cadres. He stressed the need for honest and strong young leadership in the state and expressed confidence in the party’s steady growth.
Drawing from history, Pawan Kalyan recalled the Telangana movement’s struggles against injustice and the sacrifices of its martyrs, which he said provided him with political strength. He assured that Jana Sena, inspired by this fighting spirit, will always stand by the people of Telangana.
In his concluding remarks, he called on party workers to remain among the people, address their issues, and work collectively toward long-term goals. The interaction also included meetings with successful candidates from recent panchayat elections supported by the party, indicating Jana Sena’s expanding grassroots influence.
Pawan Kalyan’s visit reinforces his strong ties to Telangana, where the party was originally founded, while he continues to fulfill governmental responsibilities in Andhra Pradesh. Party leaders view this engagement as a boost for cadres, strengthening Jana Sena’s focus on principled and people-oriented politics in the Telugu states.
