Road Accident in Hanumakonda District Claims Two Lives

Hanumakonda,March,01,2026: A road accident in Hanumakonda district on Saturday resulted in the death of two young men from Sanigaram village in Kamalapur mandal.

The incident occurred when the victims were travelling on a two-wheeler and lost control of the vehicle near Lakshmipur village.

According to police, the deceased were identified as Navin Kumar and Nagaraju, both residents of Sanigaram village. The two were riding a motorcycle when it reportedly skidded and hit the road divider.

The impact of the collision was severe, causing critical injuries to both riders. They died on the spot before any medical assistance could reach them.

Local residents alerted the police soon after the accident. Police personnel reached the location and conducted a preliminary inspection of the scene.

The bodies were shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem examination as part of standard procedure, police officials said.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the road accident in Hanumakonda district.

Police stated that factors such as speed and road conditions would be examined during the investigation. Further details will be known after the completion of the inquiry.
