Hyderabad.11.09.2024: The Telangana Education Department has offered another opportunity for candidates to correct any mistakes made while entering their details in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).
The School Education Department is providing a chance to correct errors made during the online registration of various details like marks, hall ticket numbers, and subject entries. After the release of the final key for the DSC (District Selection Committee) exam, many candidates are rushing to the office of the Director of School Education to correct mistakes in their TET registration details.
Officials have realized that if they release the DSC General Rank List (GRL) without making these corrections, it could cause problems. Therefore, they have decided to allow candidates to make necessary changes.
Candidates will have two days to correct any errors. The department will send messages to the phones of TET candidates regarding this opportunity. An official statement is expected tomorrow, providing more details about the amendments.
Telangana TET 2024 results were released on June 12. A total of 85,996 candidates appeared for Paper-1, and 1,50,491 candidates appeared for Paper-2 in the exams, which were held from May 20 to June 2.
In Paper-1, 57,725 candidates qualified, while 51,443 candidates qualified in Paper-2. The final results will combine TET marks with the marks obtained in the DSC. However, since the DSC results were released recently, the DSC results will be declared in another week.
If the DSC marks are combined with the TET marks and the general ranking list is released, candidates will lose the opportunity to correct any mistakes in their TET details. The School Education Department has decided to give candidates another chance to make corrections before the merit list is announced. Afterward, the merit list will be prepared in a 1:3 ratio, and the certificates of the candidates will be verified accordingly.
