Lucknow.15.03.2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emphasized the importance of following the Supreme Court’s ruling on the use of loudspeakers in religious places. He stated that the noise level in mosques, temples, and other places of worship should not exceed 55 decibels.

Speaking at a review meeting on development projects and Holi celebrations, CM Yogi reminded officials that no religion requires loudspeakers and that their use should be controlled.

Strict Rules for Holi and Public Safety

CM Yogi also instructed officials to ban high-volume DJs during Holi celebrations to prevent disturbances. Additionally, he ordered the installation of CCTV cameras in banks, financial institutions, shops, commercial complexes, and other important locations to enhance security.

Crackdown on Illegal Cattle Smuggling

The Chief Minister warned that strict action would be taken against illegal cattle smugglers, vehicle owners, and even police personnel who assist in such activities. He stressed the need for stronger enforcement to stop this illegal trade.

Speeding Up Development Projects

CM Yogi expressed concern over the slow progress of various projects in the state. He urged officials to speed up the work and ensure completion without delays. He also directed authorities to take necessary steps to prevent drinking water shortages in the summer.

210 Crore Saplings Planted in Eight Years

In a significant environmental effort, CM Yogi revealed that 210 crore saplings have been planted in Uttar Pradesh over the past eight years. Despite increasing urbanization, the state’s forest cover has grown, thanks to government initiatives.

Speaking at the National Clean Air Program Conference, he mentioned that authorities are actively monitoring the survival rate of these saplings. According to reports:

  • 70-75% of government-planted saplings have survived.
  • 65-70% of saplings planted by NGOs are still growing.

The CM praised these efforts and assured that the government would continue working towards a cleaner and greener Uttar Pradesh.
