Burgampahad.06.07.2024: MLA Payam Venkateswarlu took part in the Vana Mahotsav program organized by the State Government at Krishnasagar Village, Telangana Residential Government Junior College, Burgampahad Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District. During the event, MLA Payam Venkateswarlu, along with officials and employment guarantee workers, planted saplings.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Venkateswarlu emphasized the critical link between human survival and forests, stressing the collective responsibility to protect them. He noted the adverse effects of deforestation on climate and weather patterns and urged everyone to grow plants from house to house as a duty.
Special Attention to Sanitation and Seasonal Diseases: Payam Venkateswarlu’s Directives
The event was attended by Tehsildar, MPDO, EGS APO, Mandal Congress President Duggempudi Krishna Reddy, and Congress party leaders and activists. In his address, MLA Payam Venkateswarlu also highlighted the need for special attention to sanitation, particularly during the rainy season, to prevent the spread of seasonal diseases.
He directed mandal officials to ensure that drinking water remains uncontaminated and to take precautionary measures to maintain cleanliness. MLA Payam Venkateswarlu instructed the Mpdo and Panchayat officials to clean and chlorinate village tanks regularly, collect drainage ponds, and spray mosquito repellent. He stressed the importance of mandatory bleaching on every street and the active involvement of all panchayat special officers and secretaries in keeping the streets clean to safeguard public health.
