Hyderabad.10.09.2024: Telangana received an award from the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday for its significant role in developing the Crime Analysis Module under the Samanvaya Platform.
The award was presented by Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the 1st Foundation Day celebration of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. Shikha Goel, Director of the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau, accepted the award on behalf of the state.
This recognition highlights Telangana’s key role in advancing crime analysis by integrating data, finding connections between crimes, and identifying criminal networks, which helps law enforcement agencies work better together across the country. It underscores the state’s efforts to modernize crime detection and prevention.
A press release noted that the award also acknowledged the hard work of the Cyber Security Bureau, led by Shikha Goel, with support from Devender Singh, SP, and their team, in developing the Crime Analysis Module and enhancing the Samanvaya Platform into a vital tool.
