Similarly, the Singur project will be renamed after the late Minister Rajanarsimha, father of Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha.

Infrastructure Development and Budget Allocations

The cabinet approved an increase in the budget for the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project package 2, raising the cost to Rs 1784 crore. Additionally, an estimated budget of Rs 1800 crore was sanctioned for the Edula-Dindi project, further bolstering the state’s irrigation infrastructure.

Compassionate Appointments in Panchayat Raj Department

In a move to provide employment and support to bereaved families, the cabinet has approved 588 compassionate appointments within the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department. This decision underscores the government’s commitment to social welfare and job creation.
