The State is spending around ₹2,000 crore every month on interest payments. With three months remaining in the financial year, Telangana is expected to incur an additional ₹6,000 crore, pushing the total interest payment for the year to over ₹25,000 crore.

This growing debt burden raises concerns as the State approaches its borrowing limit, leaving limited room for additional loans in the final quarter of the fiscal year.
