New Delhi, April 02,2026: The CBSE Class 10th result date for 2026 is expected by April 20, according to information shared by the board. Students will be able to check their results online once they are officially released.
The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the Class 10 results on the official websites and DigiLocker portal. Students can check their marks using their roll number and date of birth.
The scorecard will include subject-wise marks, total marks, and qualifying status. To pass the examination, students must secure at least 33 percent marks in each subject, including theory and internal assessment.
Under the revised examination system introduced from the 2026 academic session, CBSE is conducting Class 10 board exams twice a year. The first examination was held between February and March and is mandatory for all students.
The second examination, scheduled in May, is optional for students who want to improve their scores in selected subjects. The best marks obtained from the two attempts will be considered for the final marksheet.
The board has introduced this dual exam system in line with the National Education Policy 2020 to reduce exam stress and provide students with another opportunity to improve their performance.
Students who do not meet the minimum passing marks will be allowed to appear for improvement or compartment examinations as per CBSE rules.
Meanwhile, CBSE Class 12 examinations are currently underway and are expected to conclude on April 20. The Class 12 results are expected to be announced in May.
