Mumbai,April 20,2026: The Bhooth Bangla box office collection day 3 shows strong growth as the film continues its opening weekend run. The horror-comedy starring Akshay Kumar was released on April 17, 2026, and has performed well in its first three days.
According to trade data, the film earned ₹21.11 crore on its third day. This marks a notable increase compared to its earlier collections, indicating steady audience interest.
The total India net collection now stands at ₹56.11 crore, while the gross collection has reached ₹66.91 crore. The film had opened with ₹12.25 crore on day one and earned ₹19 crore on its second day. It also collected around ₹3.50 crore from paid previews.
The upward trend in collections suggests positive word of mouth during the opening weekend. Audience response appears to have contributed to the growth seen on the third day.
The film is directed by Priyadarshan and marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar after several years. The duo has previously worked together in films such as Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan, and Khatta Meetha.
Bhooth Bangla also features Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, and Jisshu Sengupta in key roles. The film is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films and is produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor.
The story follows a London-based man who travels to India after his sister inherits a palace. The village where the palace is located is linked to a mysterious legend involving disappearing brides, which forms the central plot of the film.
At the trailer launch, Akshay Kumar spoke about working with the director again after many years. He described the collaboration as a homecoming and expressed his appreciation for the filmmaker’s style of storytelling.
The film’s performance over the coming weekdays will determine whether it can maintain its momentum at the box office.
