The deceased has been identified as Srinath, who was reportedly working in decoration and flex-related work and living in Ranganaikula Gutta. According to reports, he was sitting in an auto with his friend Veeresh when a local resident, Vemula Madhu, came outside with his pet dog.
The dog reportedly urinated near the auto where Srinath was sitting. This led to an argument between Srinath and Madhu. The disagreement allegedly escalated into a physical confrontation.
During the altercation, Madhu reportedly went inside his house, brought a knife and attacked Srinath. The young man sustained serious injuries and collapsed following the assault.
Locals reportedly rushed Srinath to a hospital for treatment. However, doctors confirmed that he had died by the time he was brought for medical care.
