Hyderabad.14.09.2024: A local court has instructed the Jubilee Hills police to file a case and investigate astrologer Venu Swamy, based on a petition submitted by a journalist from a regional news channel.
The petition claims that Venu Swamy has been cheating many people under the pretense of offering astrological services. The journalist’s lawyer stated in court that the journalist had faced threats after revealing the astrologer’s alleged fraudulent activities.
According to the lawyer, Venu Swamy has also been misusing the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deceive people, including common citizens, celebrities, politicians, and film actors.
After reviewing the petition, the court directed the police to thoroughly investigate the matter.
