Tirupati | December 24 : The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) once again demonstrated its growing strength in the global space arena with the successful launch of the LVM3-M6 ‘Bahubali’ rocket on Wednesday morning. The heavy-lift rocket soared majestically into the sky at 8:54 AM from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR) at Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, marking another historic milestone for India’s space program.
The LVM3-M6 mission carried the next-generation American communication satellite, BlueBird Block-2, into space. Weighing approximately 6,400 kilograms, BlueBird Block-2 is one of the heaviest commercial satellites ever launched by ISRO. The flawless liftoff highlighted the reliability and capability of India’s most powerful launch vehicle, widely known as the ‘Bahubali’ rocket.
