Hyderabad, March,10,2026: Telangana Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has indicated that parts of Telangana may receive unseasonal rainfall starting March 16. The forecast suggests rain and possible thunderstorms in several districts over the following week.
According to weather experts, rainfall may occur between March 16 and March 23 across different parts of the state. Officials have also warned of the possibility of thunderstorms and hailstorms in some areas during this period.
Districts including Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Mahabubnagar, Adilabad and Nalgonda may experience hailstorms in isolated locations. The weather department said these conditions could develop as atmospheric changes increase the chances of rain during the week.
The Hyderabad Meteorological Department stated that dry weather conditions are likely to continue across Telangana until March 15. After that, weather patterns may shift, leading to rainfall in several regions.
At present, daytime temperatures in the state are ranging between 33 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius. Heat levels have been increasing during the afternoon hours, making outdoor conditions uncomfortable in many places.
Residents are also experiencing warm and humid nights in several areas. The combination of rising temperatures and dry conditions has led to discomfort for many people across the state.
Weather officials also noted that temperatures are expected to increase further toward the end of the month. Higher maximum temperatures may be recorded during April if the warming trend continues.
The Meteorological Department continues to monitor the developing weather conditions and has advised the public to stay updated with official forecasts during the coming days.
