BSNL has reintroduced its ₹1 Freedom Plan as part of a special Independence Day promotional offer for new customers. The Freedom 2.0 offer provides a SIM card for just ₹1 along with a free first recharge.
Under the offer, eligible new BSNL customers will receive benefits for 24 days, including unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day and 1GB of daily data. The promotional offer is available only to new customers and does not apply to existing BSNL users.
What the ₹1 Freedom Plan Offers
The Freedom 2.0 promotion allows new customers to obtain a BSNL SIM for ₹1. The first recharge is provided as part of the offer, giving users access to the bundled benefits during the 24-day validity period.
The plan includes unlimited voice calling, up to 100 SMS messages every day and 1GB of data per day. The offer has been introduced as part of BSNL’s Independence Day promotional campaign.
Offer Available Until September 12
The ₹1 Freedom 2.0 promotion is available for a limited period and is scheduled to remain valid until September 12, 2026. Customers taking a new BSNL connection during the promotional period can avail themselves of the offer, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
47 Extra Days on ₹2,399 Annual Plan
BSNL has also announced an additional benefit on its ₹2,399 annual recharge plan. Customers recharging with the annual plan during the promotional period will receive an additional 47 days of validity.
The ₹2,399 plan normally offers long-term validity along with voice, SMS and data benefits. With the additional validity, eligible customers can extend their service period without making another recharge during those extra days.
New Customers Targeted
The ₹1 Freedom 2.0 offer is primarily aimed at attracting new mobile subscribers to BSNL. Existing customers are not eligible for the special ₹1 SIM and free first-recharge benefit under the promotional offer.
