Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day is projected to deliver one of the biggest box office debuts of 2026, with industry estimates pointing to a worldwide opening of around $465 million. According to industry projections, the movie could earn around $195 million in North America across approximately 4,300 theatres, although some analysts believe the opening could exceed $200 million if audience demand remains strong. International markets are expected to contribute roughly $270 million, led by major territories across Europe, Latin America and Asia.
The latest Spider-Man installment has generated significant pre-release interest, with reports indicating approximately $80 million in North American advance ticket sales, a figure comparable to the presales recorded by Spider-Man: No Way Home. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, taking over from Jon Watts, who helmed the previous Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy.
