Hyderabad, March,11,2026: Ministers Shri Tummala Nageswara Rao and Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu, along with Chief Secretary Shri K Ramakrishna Rao, released the brochure for ATEXCON 2026 in Hyderabad. The brochure titled Re imagining the Future of Global Textiles highlights the upcoming Asian Textile Conference scheduled for April 2 and 3.
The event will take place at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre and is being organised in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry.
The brochure launch ceremony marked the beginning of preparations for ATEXCON 2026, the 13th edition of the Asian Textile Conference. The conference is expected to bring together global textile leaders, investors and industry experts in Hyderabad.
Officials said the event aims to create a platform for discussions on the future of the textile industry. It will focus on opportunities for innovation, investment and collaboration across the global textile sector.
Ministers Shri Tummala Nageswara Rao and Shri Duddilla Sridhar Babu attended the brochure release along with Chief Secretary Shri K Ramakrishna Rao. The leaders highlighted Telangana’s growing role in the textile and apparel sector.
The conference is being organised with the support of the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry. Industry representatives and stakeholders from different countries are expected to participate in the two day event.
Officials said the conference will help strengthen Telangana’s position as a major hub for textiles, apparel and footwear manufacturing. Hyderabad has been hosting several industry events aimed at attracting global investment and partnerships.
As part of the conference schedule, a visit to the PM MITRA Park in Warangal is planned on April 4. The visit will allow delegates to explore the large scale textile infrastructure project being developed in the region.
The upcoming ATEXCON 2026 conference is expected to provide a platform for interaction between policymakers, industry leaders and investors. Discussions are likely to focus on the future direction of the textile sector and opportunities for collaboration.
