Jadalapet,March,11,2026 : A fake doctor clinic was raided by officials from the Telangana Drugs Control Administration in Bhupalpally district on Tuesday evening. Authorities seized around 50 types of medicines including antibiotics and steroids during the inspection.

Officials from the Telangana Drugs Control Administration conducted a raid on a fake doctor clinic operating in Jadalapet village of Chityal mandal in Bhupalpally district on March 11.

The inspection was carried out on Tuesday evening after authorities identified that an unqualified individual was running the clinic and dispensing medicines without proper authorization.

During the raid, officials seized nearly 50 different types of medicines from the premises. The seized stock included antibiotics and steroids that were allegedly being sold and used without medical qualification.

According to officials, the estimated value of the seized medicines is around ₹45,000.

Authorities warned that the sale and use of antibiotics and steroids by unqualified individuals pose a serious risk to public health. They stressed that such medicines must only be prescribed and handled by qualified medical practitioners.

The Drugs Control Administration officials stated that unauthorized medical practice and the improper sale of medicines can lead to health complications and misuse of drugs among patients.

The raid took place in Jadalapet village under Chityal mandal in Bhupalpally district where the clinic had reportedly been operating without valid medical credentials.

Officials said action is being taken as part of ongoing enforcement efforts to prevent illegal medical practices and ensure safe distribution of medicines.

The Drugs Control Administration has launched further investigation into the incident to identify additional violations and determine the extent of illegal medical activity.

Authorities stated that appropriate legal action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
