Hyderabad.26.01.2025: BRS working president KT Rama Rao strongly criticized the Congress government for implementing its newly launched welfare schemes on a pilot basis, covering only one village per mandal across Telangana.

He questioned whether the Congress sought votes from just one village per mandal and if their election manifesto applied only to a select few.
Expressing concerns, KTR warned that growing public dissatisfaction could lead to unrest in neglected villages. His comments followed Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka’s announcement about the phased rollout of the schemes.
Taking to social media platform X, KTR accused the Congress government of betraying the public by not fulfilling its six election promises. He said the government diluted its commitments after coming to power.
“Did you ask for votes from only one village per mandal? Did you promise development only for a few villages? Telangana’s people will not forgive this selective implementation of schemes,” he stated.
KTR further criticized the Congress for its inconsistency, highlighting that during the elections, the party promised benefits for everyone but is now offering schemes to only a few. He labeled this approach as unfair and hypocritical.
He also urged the government to deliver on its promises without discrimination, warning that neglecting the majority of the population could have severe consequences.
