Hyderabad, March,06,2026: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the government will ensure that people affected by development projects receive proper support and compensation. He made the statement while launching infrastructure works and inaugurating an eco park in Hyderabad.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the government will support all families affected by the Musi River Front Project and other development initiatives in the state. He stated that no one would be left without assistance even if they lose land or houses due to the project.
The Chief Minister said the government will provide proper compensation and necessary facilities to displaced families. He assured that people affected by the Musi River Front Project will be supported and provided housing arrangements.
Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for the Radial Road 2 interchange connecting the Budvel layout. He also inaugurated an eco park at Kotwalguda and addressed a public meeting organized in the area.
During his speech, the Chief Minister said the Musi river is currently filled with pollution and waste. He said development plans must change with time and cities should adapt to future needs.
He said many people are living in difficult conditions near polluted areas due to circumstances. The government aims to improve these conditions by developing the area while ensuring affected residents are part of the development process.
Revanth Reddy said projects such as the Regional Ring Road, radial roads and bullet train networks may require land acquisition. He acknowledged that land loss can be difficult for families but said the government will provide compensation sufficient for people to purchase land elsewhere.
He said riverfront projects in Ahmedabad, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have been developed along the Sabarmati, Yamuna and Ganga rivers. The government plans to develop the Musi River Front Project in Hyderabad on similar lines.
The Chief Minister said the riverfront area will include spaces for businesses and economic activities at night. He added that the project will create employment opportunities and promote night tourism while strengthening law and order.
For families losing land due to the project, the government plans to construct Indiramma houses on government land within the same constituencies.
Revanth Reddy said Hyderabad has historic structures and the potential to become one of the most beautiful cities in the world. He said the government aims to redevelop the city with modern infrastructure.
He also said Shamshabad is expected to become a bullet train hub connecting Bengaluru, Amaravati and Chennai. According to him, most approvals for the project have been obtained.
Members of Parliament Mallu Ravi and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Legislative Council Chief Whip Mahender Reddy, MLA Prakash Goud and other public representatives attended the event.
