Hyderabad, February,26,2026 : The Telangana government will implement a 100-day action plan to roll out welfare schemes across the state from March 2 to June 9.
The programme was announced on February 26 by the state Chief Secretary during a high-level meeting held in Hyderabad.
Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao said the plan is aimed at ensuring timely execution of welfare schemes and completion of developmental works during the 100-day period.
The meeting was attended by Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of various departments at the Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat.
Ramakrishna Rao informed officials that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will convene a meeting with department secretaries on February 28 to review preparations.
He said a separate meeting with all District Collectors will be held on March 1 to discuss district-level implementation of the action plan.
The Chief Secretary directed all departments to prepare detailed 100-day plans and flag any issues that could affect the implementation of welfare schemes.
Departments asked to submit plans include Rural Development, Municipal Administration, Health, Education, Tourism, Industries, Women and Child Welfare, Housing, Revenue, Electricity and Labour.
He also stated that the Chief Minister and other ministers will launch several welfare schemes and developmental works during the 100-day period.
This will include the inauguration of government buildings whose construction has already been completed.
Ramakrishna Rao instructed departments to conduct awareness programmes and workshops for newly elected sarpanches and municipal chairpersons.
The programmes will focus on rural water supply, sanitation and public health initiatives.
In addition, all heads of departments were directed to implement the e-office system in their respective offices along with the Secretariat.
The 100-day action plan is intended to improve coordination between departments and district administrations.
The state government has been focusing on strengthening delivery mechanisms for welfare schemes since the formation of the present administration.
Further review meetings are expected during the implementation period to monitor progress at departmental and district levels.
