Hyderabad,March,28,2026: The Telangana Assembly bill for financial support to elderly parents will be introduced in the State Legislative Assembly on March 28. The move aims to strengthen welfare measures for aged parents across the state.
The Telangana government is set to present a key bill focused on ensuring financial security and welfare for elderly parents. The proposal will be introduced in the Assembly as part of the ongoing legislative session.
Alongside this, the government will also table the Singareni 103rd and 104th annual reports in the Assembly. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka will present these reports during the session.
In addition, Minister Seethakka will introduce the Telangana Panchayat Raj Amendment Bill 2026. Another important proposal related to financial support for elderly couples will be presented by Minister Adluri Laxman.
Discussions on budget allocations for the financial year 2026-27 will continue. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar is expected to respond to questions raised by members regarding allocations for the Backward Classes Welfare Department.
Minister Seethakka will also address queries related to funding for rural development, irrigation, and women and child welfare departments.
Separately, sports competitions involving Telangana MLAs and MLCs are scheduled to take place. These events will be held in the evening from 5 PM to 10 PM over two days.
The Assembly session includes multiple legislative and administrative discussions, with a focus on welfare, governance, and budgetary planning.
Further proceedings in the Assembly will continue with discussions on grants, departmental allocations, and additional legislative proposals.
