Group-1 Aspirants Urge for Exam Postponement

Aspirants preparing for the Telangana Group-1 Mains exams have requested a postponement. Several candidates met with BRS Working President K. Taraka Rama Rao at Telangana Bhavan, asking him to push for the delay of the exams. They pointed out mistakes in the prelims, including errors in 20 out of 150 questions, and confusion over government orders (GOs). Despite protests, the exams are still set to begin on October 21.

Candidates have also raised concerns about unclear guidelines on using Telugu Academy textbooks and translation issues in the Mains. They worry about repeating problems seen in previous years, where Group-1 exams in 2011 and 2016 faced similar issues and were canceled. Aspirants are requesting the exams be delayed until all court cases are resolved.
