Hyderabad.26.02.2026: In a major administrative development, the Telangana government on Tuesday issued orders for large-scale Telangana IAS Transfers 2026, reshuffling 45 IAS officers across key departments and districts.
The transfers include several senior officials, Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, and multiple District Collectors, signalling a significant overhaul of the state’s administrative machinery.

Sri Sanjay Kumar, IAS (1995), has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to the Government for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, and RSAD departments.
Sri M. Dana Kishore, IAS (1996), has been placed in Full Additional Charge as Special Chief Secretary to the Government (Disaster Management), Revenue Department.
Sri Rahul Bojja, IAS (2000), has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Government (Political), General Administration Department. He has also been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, BC Welfare Department.
Changes in General Administration and Key Departments

Sri N. Sridhar, IAS (1997), has been posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Industries & Commerce and ITE&C Departments, while continuing his additional charge in Mines & Geology.

Ms B. Vijendra, IAS (2006), was transferred from Mahabubnagar and posted as Secretary, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, and Commissioner, Scheduled Castes Development.
Ms Sikta Patnaik, IAS (2014), moved from Narayanpet and was posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Finance Department.
Several districts including Karimnagar, Vikarabad, Medak, Hanamkonda, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Jogulamba Gadwal, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Rajanna Sircilla, and Mahabubnagar received new Collectors.
Urban Administration and GHMC Changes
