Hyderabad, March,14,2026: Telangana Civil Supplies Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy held a review meeting on Telangana LPG supplies with the LPG Distributors Committee at the B R Ambedkar Secretariat in Hyderabad on March 14. The meeting focused on ensuring smooth distribution of cooking gas and preventing artificial shortages.
The review was conducted as part of the State government’s efforts to address complaints related to LPG availability and black marketing.
During the meeting, the Civil Supplies Minister discussed the current supply situation with members of the LPG Distributors Committee. Officials reviewed distribution patterns and measures needed to maintain steady Telangana LPG supplies across the State.
The government has earlier directed authorities to take strict action against individuals involved in creating artificial shortages of Liquefied Petroleum Gas. The Civil Supplies Department has also been instructed to monitor the supply chain closely.
Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy reiterated that any attempt to engage in black marketing or hoarding of LPG cylinders would face strict action from the government.
Officials said the meeting helped review field level issues faced by distributors and explore steps to ensure that domestic consumers receive LPG cylinders without delays.
The State government also urged citizens to report complaints related to LPG supply or suspected hoarding. People can dial the toll free helpline number 1967 to lodge grievances with the Civil Supplies Department.
Authorities said complaints received through the helpline will be examined and necessary action will be taken by the concerned officials.
The government stated that such review meetings will help monitor Telangana LPG supplies and ensure that cooking gas reaches households without disruption.
