The strikes come amid escalating tensions in West Asia after the reported death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society said the death toll from the attacks has reached 1,145. The airstrikes have affected multiple regions across the country.
