Mumbai,April 23,2026: The BMW F 450 GS has been launched in India on April 23, 2026, with a starting price of Rs 4.70 lakh. The motorcycle is available in three variants, including Exclusive and GS Trophy trims.
BMW F 450 GS is positioned as the new entry-level model in BMW’s GS lineup, replacing the G 310 GS in the country. The bike is manufactured in India by TVS Motor Company.
The motorcycle is powered by a 420cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. It produces 48 bhp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Under its bodywork, the bike uses a steel trellis frame. It is equipped with upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. The wheel setup includes a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel. Alloy wheels are offered on standard variants, while the GS Trophy variant gets tubeless wire-spoke wheels.
In terms of features, the motorcycle comes with all-LED lighting and multiple ride modes. The base variant offers Rain, Road, and Enduro modes, while higher variants include an additional Enduro Pro mode.
A bi-directional quickshifter is optional on the base variant and standard on higher trims. The top-spec GS Trophy variant also features adjustable suspension and an Easy Ride Clutch system.
Rider aids on the bike include cornering traction control, ABS, and Dynamic Brake Control. All information and settings are displayed on a 6.5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity.
The BMW F 450 GS is part of BMW’s expanding GS portfolio and serves as an accessible option for riders entering the adventure touring segment.
Following its launch, the motorcycle is expected to be available across BMW Motorrad dealerships in India.
