Jangaon Suicide Case: A retired government teacher allegedly died by suicide in Telangana’s Jangaon district after leaving behind a 20-page handwritten letter. In the note, he reportedly blamed the Telangana government, a relative, and delays in receiving his retirement benefits for his extreme step.

Jangaon Retired Teacher Suicide

The deceased was identified as Pagidipalli Mallaiah, a retired teacher residing in the Industrial Area of Jangaon town. According to preliminary information, Mallaiah alleged in his letter that his brother-in-law and certain relatives had failed to return money owed to him. He also claimed that delays in the release of his retirement benefits, including his General Provident Fund (GPF), had caused him severe mental distress.

In the alleged suicide note, Mallaiah reportedly stated that the Telangana government was responsible for delaying the payment of his retirement dues. He also mentioned that a High Court judge was one of the reasons behind his decision, as referenced in the letter. The contents of the note are now part of the police investigation.

Police reached the scene after receiving information about the incident and registered a case. The body was shifted for post-mortem examination, and officials have begun a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. Authorities are also examining the contents of the 20-page letter to verify the allegations made by the deceased.

Investigators have not yet issued any official statement confirming the claims mentioned in the suicide note. Police said that all aspects of the case, including the allegations against individuals and references to delayed retirement benefits, will be examined as part of the ongoing investigation.

The incident has drawn attention locally due to the serious allegations contained in the handwritten note. Officials are expected to record statements from family members and other concerned persons before reaching any conclusions.

The investigation is continuing, and authorities have urged the public not to speculate until the inquiry is completed and official findings are released.
