Hyderabad, August 30: Telangana Minister Dr Danasari Anasuya Seethakka has expressed deep shock over the alleged murder of nurse Sirisha, a native of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, at a private hospital in Tukkuguda of Rangareddy district. The minister spoke to police officials and urged a speedy investigation to ensure justice for the victim and her family.
Sirisha was working as a nurse at Prime Care Hospital in Tukkuguda when the incident occurred. Describing the death of the young woman as deeply disturbing, Seethakka said the incident had caused her immense anguish.
After receiving information about the case, the minister contacted local police officials, including the Pahadishareef Inspector and other officers, to obtain details about the incident. Police officials informed her that the accused had been taken into custody, according to the minister’s statement.
Seethakka later spoke to Telangana Director General of Police C.V. Anand and requested a comprehensive and high-level investigation into the case. She called for the legal process to be expedited and for all necessary action to ensure justice for Sirisha and her family.
The minister said the death of a young woman who was supporting herself and working in the service sector was extremely tragic. She said those responsible for such crimes against women must face strict action under the law.
“The investigation should be completed at the earliest and the victim’s family should receive justice,” Seethakka said in her statement.
She conveyed her deep condolences to Sirisha’s family and assured them that the government would extend all possible support. Seethakka also said the authorities should ensure that the case proceeds without unnecessary delay.
The minister’s response has drawn attention to the safety of women working in healthcare and other service sectors. Police are continuing the investigation, while further legal action will depend on the findings of the probe.
