Hyderabad.06.08.2024: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has instructed officials to accelerate the development projects in Warangal, aiming to complete them by the end of the year.
During a review meeting held at the secretariat on Tuesday, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, who also oversees the erstwhile Warangal district, discussed key projects including the Smart City initiative, Bhadrakali Devasthanam, Mega Textile Park, Warangal Airport, Government Medical College in Narsampet, and Integrated Residential Schools.
Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy emphasized that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is particularly focused on Warangal’s development. He directed officials to implement the government’s decisions swiftly and ensure that the development works align with the input of local representatives.
The Minister also highlighted the importance of land acquisition for the Warangal Inner Ring Road, Outer Ring Road, and Airport, urging officials to consider the interests of farmers. He instructed the Warangal District Collector to coordinate with the Airport Authority and Roads and Buildings officials regarding airport land acquisition.
Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy set a deadline for completing the Smart City project by December 31 and the Kaloji Kalakshetra project by August 20.
The meeting was attended by various Warangal district representatives including Kadyam Srihari, Revuri Prakash Reddy, Donthi Madhava Reddy, K Nagaraju, Pochampalli Srinivas Reddy, Baswaraju Saraiya, and Warangal Mayor Gundu Sudharani.
