Speaking to the media after visiting BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy and his family, whose house was attacked by a group led by Congress MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, KTR condemned the violent actions that took place in broad daylight. He mentioned that such acts of vandalism had not been seen in the last decade and blamed the Chief Minister for his poor governance. KTR highlighted that 28 murders had occurred in just 30 days, calling it a sign of lawlessness. He questioned whether Revanth Reddy, who also holds the home minister’s position, was capable of continuing as Chief Minister, especially given his frequent trips to the party office in New Delhi.

Defending Kaushik Reddy’s questions to Gandhi, KTR raised the same concerns about Gandhi’s political loyalties. He accused Revanth Reddy of trying to divert attention from real issues and predicted that Revanth would be remembered as the most ineffective Chief Minister in history.

KTR compared Revanth to previous leaders such as N Chandrababu Naidu and YS Rajashekhara Reddy, noting that Hyderabad had remained peaceful under BRS rule for the last ten years. He accused Revanth of holding a grudge against the people of Hyderabad for their strong support of BRS in the assembly elections, where the Congress party failed to win any seats. According to KTR, the Chief Minister was using harsh methods, like demolitions, to damage the BRS’s achievements.

He also said that during the BRS government’s tenure, there were no conflicts between Andhra and Telangana, but the Congress was stirring up such issues for political advantage. KTR pledged that BRS would continue to hold the Congress government accountable until all promises made to the people were fulfilled.

KTR also demanded action against police officers who accompanied the attackers to Kaushik Reddy’s home, wondering what could have happened if family members had been hurt. He criticized the police for allegedly trying to harass senior BRS leaders after the incident, but added that public support prevented this.

KTR referred to a High Court ruling that required action against MLAs who switched parties, stating that it had created fears among those involved. He credited Kaushik Reddy for filing a petition to disqualify three Congress MLAs. He also reminded the public that Revanth Reddy had once said defecting MLAs should be punished severely.

Finally, KTR pointed out that Gandhi was made PAC Chairman on the same day as the High Court verdict, which he believed triggered the attack on Kaushik Reddy’s house after the MLA questioned the erosion of democratic values.
