During a recent event in Hyderabad, CM Revanth Reddy criticized the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) for neglecting the unemployed youth during its tenure. “Despite numerous challenges, we successfully conducted the Group-1 exam and will finalize the recruitment process by the end of March,” he declared, underlining the government’s commitment to addressing unemployment.

At the event, the Chief Minister distributed cheques of ₹1 lakh each to 20 civil services aspirants who excelled in the Mains examination. These awards, given under the Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhaya Hastham scheme, aim to support and encourage aspirants from Telangana to pursue national-level civil services.

CM Reddy emphasized the scheme’s role in fostering ambition among Telangana’s youth. “States like Bihar, despite their challenges, produce numerous civil servants. We aspire to see Telangana youth leading in civil services soon,” he remarked.

Government’s Commitment to Aspirants

Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka assured that the government would provide hostel facilities in New Delhi for candidates preparing for interviews, enabling them to focus entirely on their studies. He reiterated the government’s dedication to supporting aspirants through financial aid and infrastructure.

Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao and other dignitaries, including CPI MLA Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao and SCCL Chairman N. Balram, were also present. The financial assistance, supported by Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), will benefit around 400 aspirants annually.
