Hyderabad.27.01.2025: In a significant boost to the farming community, the Rythu Bharosa scheme, launched on January 26 by M. Revanth, has commenced disbursement of funds to farmers across Telangana. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao announced that the scheme will provide ₹6,000 per acre of cultivated land to every eligible farmer in the state.

In its first installment, ₹569 crores were transferred to the accounts of 4,41,911 farmers, covering 577 villages across 563 mandals in 32 districts. The funds support 9,48,333 acres of cultivated land, fulfilling the promises made during the elections.

District-Wise Disbursement Details

  • Adilabad District: ₹14.49 crores for 6,411 farmers across 21 villages in 17 mandals.
  • Bhadradri Kothagudem District: ₹39.07 crores for 22,242 farmers in 25 villages across 23 mandals.
  • Hanamkonda District: ₹14.30 crores for 12,545 farmers from 12 villages across 12 mandals.
  • Jagityala District: ₹39.07 crores for 22,242 farmers across 20 villages in 20 mandals.
  • Janagama District: ₹15.91 crores for 12,320 farmers from 12 villages across 12 mandals.

Several other districts, including Khammam (₹28.42 crores), Siddipet (₹36.76 crores), and Nizamabad (₹46.93 crores), also witnessed significant disbursements, benefiting thousands of farmers in multiple villages and mandals.

Statewide Impact

The Rythu Bharosa scheme aims to provide financial assistance for crop investment and ensure support for agricultural activities.
Farmers from various regions have expressed gratitude for the timely disbursal of funds, which will help them prepare for the upcoming agricultural season.
