Bhadrachalam, April 20, 2025: Jagadish, a bill collector from the Bhadrachalam gram panchayat, has been removed from his job for uploading false bills related to the Indiramma housing scheme.

The action was taken by the district panchayat officer under the orders of Housing and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

Jagadish falsely claimed that construction work for 18 Indiramma house beneficiaries had reached the basement level, even though the work had not started. When questioned, he said the incorrect report was uploaded by mistake.

Minister Srinivas Reddy warned that the state government will take strict action against any kind of fraud or corruption in the Indiramma housing scheme. He said there will be zero tolerance for irregularities.
