Eligible candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the Competent Authority Quota in Telangana have another opportunity to register for the 2026–27 academic year. Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has reopened the online registration process following requests from candidates.
According to the latest notification issued by KNRUHS, online registration and uploading of certificates reopened at 2 pm on August 18 and will remain open until 6 pm on August 20. The opportunity applies to admissions under the Competent Authority Quota in government and private medical and dental colleges affiliated with the university.
Candidates who qualified in NEET UG 2026 by securing the prescribed cut-off score or above can use the reopened registration window to submit their applications. Applicants are required to complete the online application process and upload the necessary certificates within the stipulated deadline.

The earlier registration process had closed on August 12 before being reopened from August 18 in response to requests received from candidates.
KNRUHS had earlier published the list of NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates from Telangana and stated that applications would be followed by verification of certificates and preparation of a provisional merit list. The final merit list will be prepared after considering eligible candidates and any grievances received during the process.
For NEET UG 2026, the qualifying cut-off for General and EWS candidates is the 50th percentile, with a score of 213. For SC, ST and BC candidates, the qualifying requirement is the 40th percentile, with a score of 177.
