The Tata Nexon registered a 32 percent year-on-year growth, reclaiming the top position in the SUV segment. It moved ahead of the Hyundai Creta, which secured second place with total sales of 2,01,921 units during the same period.

The Tata Punch, which led the SUV charts in FY2025, dropped to third position with 1,83,980 units sold. The Maruti Suzuki Brezza followed in fourth place with sales of 1,80,104 units.

The Mahindra Scorpio range, including Scorpio Classic and Scorpio N, completed the top five with 1,78,800 units. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx ranked sixth, recording 1,72,363 units in FY26.

The Mahindra Thar lineup, including the Roxx variant, showed notable growth and secured the seventh position with 1,26,261 units. The increase was supported by the introduction of a five-door version.
