Hyderabad.04.05.2025: The much-anticipated NEET 2025 examination is set to take place today for admissions into various medical education courses. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the test across India and in over 566 cities abroad. This crucial exam paves the way for students aspiring to join MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing, and other affiliated medical courses.

As per official guidelines, the NEET 2025 exam will be conducted in a paper-pencil format from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. For divine candidates, the exam duration extends till 6:00 pm. Candidates will be allowed entry into the exam centers starting from 11:00 am, with the final cut-off time being 1:30 pm. Arriving even a minute late after 1:40 pm will lead to denial of entry.

Admit Card and ID Card Compulsory for NEET 2025

Candidates appearing for NEET 2025 must carry their Admit Card, Aadhaar Card, and a valid photo ID to gain access to the examination hall. Without these essential documents, candidates will not be permitted to sit for the test. In case anyone forgets their admit card, they can request family members to deliver it to the center, or quickly arrange for a printout from a nearby cyber cafe, provided time permits. Examination authorities at the center may also assist in this regard under specific circumstances.

Strict Security and Surveillance at NEET 2025 Centers

To ensure fairness and transparency, strict security measures are in place at all NEET 2025 examination centers. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and earphones are strictly prohibited inside the premises. The NTA has installed CCTV surveillance systems and may deploy signal jammers to prevent malpractice during the examination.

In Telangana alone, 190 centers have been arranged, accommodating 72,507 candidates, while Andhra Pradesh will see around 65,000 students participating in NEET 2025.

The question paper will be distributed at 1:50 pm, and the answer sheets will be issued at 1:55 pm. All candidates are advised to reach their centers well in advance to avoid last-minute hassles and strictly follow the guidelines issued by the NTA for a smooth and safe examination process.
