Mumbai,March,30,2026: The India Meteorological Department reported a partly cloudy sky across Mumbai and its suburbs in the morning. The minimum temperature was recorded at around 25 degrees Celsius, while the maximum is expected to hover near 34 degrees Celsius.
Air quality across the city showed noticeable improvement. According to official data, the AQI remained largely in the good to satisfactory range in different areas. Bandra Kurla Complex recorded an AQI of 27, while Borivali East reported 54.
Other locations such as Byculla recorded 44, Chembur and Colaba both stood at 38, and Ghatkopar reported 36. Lower AQI levels were observed in Bhandup West and Mulund West at 24 each, while Worli recorded 32.
Neighbouring regions showed slightly higher but still satisfactory air quality levels. Thane recorded an AQI of 62, Kalyan reported 70, and Navi Mumbai stood at 54.
Across Maharashtra, warm to hot weather conditions continued. Malegaon recorded the highest temperature at 40 degrees Celsius. Parbhani followed with 39.4 degrees Celsius, and Sholapur recorded 39.2 degrees Celsius.
Several other cities, including Aurangabad, Osmanabad, Satara, and Udgir, reported temperatures above 37 degrees Celsius. However, coastal and hilly regions remained relatively cooler.
Mumbai’s Colaba area recorded 33.4 degrees Celsius, while Santacruz saw 32.4 degrees Celsius. Mahabaleshwar remained the coolest location at 30.1 degrees Celsius, below normal levels.
Humidity levels varied across the state. Coastal regions, including Mumbai, experienced higher humidity, while interior districts such as Osmanabad and Parbhani recorded drier conditions.
According to the IMD, the state is expected to continue experiencing warm to hot weather conditions, with humid weather along coastal areas and relatively dry conditions inland.
