Los Angeles: April 15, 2026: GoPro’s Mission 1 has been officially announced as the company’s first cinema-focused action camera series. The lineup was revealed on April 15, 2026, featuring three models with advanced video capabilities and new hardware.
GoPro’s Mission 1 series includes the Mission 1, Mission 1 Pro, and Mission 1 Pro ILS, marking the brand’s entry into premium action cinema cameras.
New Processor and Sensor
The cameras are powered by a new GP3 processor built on a 5nm architecture with an integrated AI neural processing unit. The lineup also features a 50-megapixel 1-inch sensor with support for up to 14 stops of dynamic range.
