New Delhi,April 03,2026: Realme 16 has been launched in India with a large battery, dual 50MP camera system and new design features. The smartphone was officially announced on April 2, 2026 and will go on sale starting April 6 through online and offline stores.
The Realme 16 features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and slim bezels. The device comes with IP69 water and dust resistance and runs on Realme UI 7.0.
Camera and Design Features
The smartphone includes a dual 50MP portrait camera system with a Sony IMX852 rear sensor and a 50MP front camera. One of the key highlights is the rear selfie mirror that allows users to frame selfies using the main camera.
The phone also includes Aura Ring Flash for better lighting while taking photos. Camera features include gesture capture, voice countdown, AI Edit Genie and AI Instant Clip for social media videos.
Battery and Performance
The Realme 16 is powered by a 7000mAh Titan battery with 60W fast charging support. According to the company, the battery can charge up to 50 percent in about 30 minutes. The device also supports bypass charging for gaming.
The company claims the battery can retain 80 percent health after 1600 charging cycles.
