Bhadrachalam,March,17,2026: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to attend the Bhadrachalam Sri Rama Navami celebrations at the Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple. He will participate in the traditional Kalyanotsavam ceremony and launch temple development works during the visit.
The Bhadrachalam Sri Rama Navami celebrations will take place at the historic temple in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. The Chief Minister is expected to attend the ceremonial wedding ritual of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, one of the most important annual events at the temple.
During the visit, Revanth Reddy will also lay the foundation stone for development works at the temple complex. The projects are planned with an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore and are aimed at improving infrastructure and facilities for devotees visiting the temple.
In addition to the foundation ceremony, efforts are underway to allocate around Rs 300 crore for the overall development of the temple. The proposed works are expected to strengthen facilities and support the long term expansion of the temple area.
The announcement regarding the Chief Minister’s participation and the development plans was shared by the TPCC Social Media Wing associated with the Pinapaka Assembly constituency.
The Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple at Bhadrachalam is one of the most prominent pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Rama in Telangana. The Sri Rama Navami festival at the temple attracts thousands of devotees every year who gather to witness the Kalyanotsavam ceremony.
With the Chief Minister scheduled to attend the Bhadrachalam Sri Rama Navami celebrations, temple authorities and local officials are expected to make arrangements for the event and the foundation ceremony for the planned development projects.
