In Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated for 41 days. The celebrations begin on Chaitra Purnima and continue until the tenth day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Vaisakha.
During this period, devotees visit Hanuman temples, perform special pujas, chant Hanuman Chalisa, and offer prayers seeking strength and blessings.
Significance of Hanuman Jayanti
According to Hindu mythology, Lord Hanuman is believed to be the 11th Rudra avatar of Lord Shiva. He was born to Anjana and Kesari with the blessings of the wind god Vayu.
