Mandamarri,March,08,2026: A Mandamarri student suicide has shocked residents after a Class 10 student died by suicide allegedly due to exam stress. The incident occurred early Sunday morning in the CSP Road area of Mandamarri town.

Mandamarri student suicide

According to police and family members, the deceased student was 16 year old Kyathan Thanay, son of Kyathana Satyanarayana. He was studying in Class 10 at Singareni High School.

Family members said the student had been under stress as the annual examinations were approaching. Over the past few days, he had reportedly expressed worry to his parents that he was unable to study properly and feared that he might score only pass marks despite trying to prepare.

On Sunday at around 05:48 am, his father Satyanarayana woke him up and asked him to study before leaving the room. Later, at about 06:45 am, family members stepped outside the house and noticed him hanging from an iron pipe in a shed located in front of the house using a nylon rope.

The family immediately brought him down and checked his condition. However, he had already died by the time they found him.

Police said a suicide note written on a small piece of paper was recovered from the spot. The note contained a short message addressed to his parents and a person named Srinidhi.

The student’s father informed the police that his son had been facing mental stress related to studies and examinations, which he believes led to the incident.

Based on the complaint filed by Satyanarayana, police registered a case and began an investigation into the Mandamarri student suicide. Authorities are continuing their inquiry to document the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The incident has created a sense of grief in the local community, particularly among residents in the CSP Road area where the student lived with his family.
