The National Informatics Centre (NIC) has been asked to connect the ration card database to MeeSeva centers for smoother processing. Currently, Telangana has 89.96 lakh ration cards, covering 281.70 lakh people. Of these, 35.51 lakh are state-issued cards, and 54.45 lakh are under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
