Hyderabad,March,21,2026: The Telangana government will release Rythu Bharosa funds from March 22 to farmers across the state. The funds will be credited directly into farmers’ bank accounts in three phases.
Farmers in Telangana have been waiting for investment support since the beginning of the Yasangi season. The government has now announced that the Rythu Bharosa funds will be released starting March 22, bringing relief to farmers.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has decided to deposit the money directly into farmers’ bank accounts to support agricultural investment and reduce financial burden on farmers. The Chief Minister will officially launch the scheme by pressing a button at a public meeting in Narmetta, Siddipet district.
The Chief Minister reviewed the fund release process along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao. The government prepared a plan to ensure funds are released on time without putting excessive burden on the state treasury.
Officials decided to release the total amount in three phases instead of releasing it all at once. The money will be deposited directly into farmers’ bank accounts.
In the first phase, around 70 lakh farmers are expected to benefit. Farmers owning up to one acre of land will receive funds in the first phase, and about Rs. 3,590 crore will be credited on March 22.
The second phase will be released about 20 days after the first phase. In the second phase, approximately Rs. 2,650 crore will be distributed to farmers with larger land holdings.
The third phase of funds will be released by the end of April, and the government aims to complete the entire Rythu Bharosa fund distribution process before April ends. In total, around Rs. 9,000 crore will be distributed to farmers in three phases.
The government decided to complete the fund distribution within April after delays in previous releases caused difficulties for farmers.
