Hyderabad,April 16,2026: The Singer Mangli Issue has taken a fresh turn after alleged victims publicly spoke about their financial losses in the case linked to a microfinance and network marketing dispute. The development comes a day after advocate Subbarao presented the complainants before the media on April 15.
According to reports, the controversy began when advocate Subbarao filed a complaint at Panjagutta Police Station alleging that Singer Mangli and her team were involved in a large-scale fraud in the name of microfinance. Following the complaint, a case was registered and the matter has since drawn public attention.
Mangli had earlier denied involvement in the allegations. She stated that she had no knowledge of the matter and alleged that the complaint was being used for publicity. Her response created confusion around the claims and counterclaims in the case.
Another twist emerged when Subbarao was reportedly subjected to a breath analyzer test after being called to the police station, where he allegedly tested positive at a low level. The incident briefly shifted attention toward the advocate and raised questions about the credibility of the complaint.
However, the case gained renewed momentum after several alleged victims came forward and shared their experiences before the media. They claimed they had been struggling with the issue for the past six months and approached advocate Subbarao for legal assistance after failing to find a solution.
One of the complainants stated that she and others invested up to Rs 5 lakh after being introduced to the scheme by a person identified as Madhu under the name of network marketing. She alleged that investors were promised five percent returns initially and were later assured land allotments to gain their trust.
The complainants also said Mangli’s public status had given more weight to her statements, while their concerns had received less attention because they were ordinary individuals.
The allegations remain under investigation, and authorities are expected to examine the claims made by both parties before determining the next course of action. No final conclusion has yet been reached in the matter.
