The theme for the second day, “Neellu Patteddam, Neellu Kapadadam” (Save Water, Protect Water), highlights the importance of water conservation. Activities include cleaning and chlorinating water storage tanks, guiding households in installing Rainwater Harvesting Structures (RWHS), and promoting simple, cost-effective methods for rainwater collection. Additionally, borewells in Gram Panchayats will be fitted with water tanks to minimize water and electricity wastage.
